Samsung Galaxy M30 price in India may start at Rs. 15,000


Samsung Galaxy M30 is all set to be launched in India this month and while it will be the third smartphone in the newly launched Galaxy M series, the Samsung Galaxy M30 is expected to come with more premium features than the Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M20. Samsung on Thursday told IANS that the Galaxy M30 will feature a triple rear camera setup and a beefy 5000mAh battery. It further added the Samsung Galaxy M30 will go on sale starting from the first week of March in India, just after the official release in February. Apart from this, the company did not reveal anything concrete, but leaks have hinted on the other specifications and price in India of the Samsung Galaxy M30.
The Samsung Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M20 were launched at a starting price of Rs. 7,990 and Rs. 10,990, respectively, while the upcoming premium smartphone in the M series is expected to be priced at Rs. 15,000. Considering the price tag, Samsung Galaxy M30 could directly take on the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, which will also be released in February this year.

Samsung Galaxy M30 specifications and features (expected)

The device is expected to come in a 6.38-inch Super-AMOLED infinity V display with 2220x1080 pixels resolution. It will be powered by the Exynos 794 SoC coupled with 4GB/6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of storage, expandable via microSD card. Moreover, it will pack a powerful 5000mAh battery.
For optics, the Samsung Galaxy M30 will sport a triple rear-camera setup which could include 13-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.9 aperture, a 5-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.2 aperture, and 5-megapixel wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture. For selfie, it is speculated to arrive with a 16-megapixel sensor with f/2.0 aperture. Further, it is most likely to come with a rear-fingerprint scanner and a face-unlock system.
